Oral history interview with Lewis Fithian (1900-1997) conducted at the Groton Public Library, December 20, 1983. Lewis was born and raised on Long Island and first came to Groton as a high school student in the summer of 1916. The family moved to Poquonnock Bridge in 1917. He discusses his recollections of Groton, residents of Poquonnock Bridge, the D. E. Whiton Machine Co., J. N.
